WBFF Worlds Update

When I stepped on stage for the WBFF Worlds on Saturday, I had one thing on my mind. To beat the girl that took the crown in 2018. For 12 months I have had this on my mind. Every lift, every meal and every effort! In the time leading up to the competition, I knew without a doubt that I had beat that girl. It didn’t matter what I placed in the competition, or anyone else’s package. Because I was in the competition for myself, and the only comparison I made with was with me! No, I didn’t win the title, but for me, the crown doesn’t mean as much as what I think of myself.

When starting a new challenge, it is natural to want to go HARD straight away and begin this new chapter of your life! I love seeing empowered girls who want to train and eat well within the @laurensimpsonfitness community because that means that they are dedicated to bettering themselves and changing their lives!

My Guide To Dining Out

I know girls, eating out can be stressful when you are starting a new challenge. I used to stress so much about going out with the fear of unknown calories preventing progress. Flexible dieting is your KEY to being able to get results and live life as well. This is something I preach to my LSF babes. With a flexible dieting approach there is no reason that you shouldn’t be able to eat out for meals with zero stress or anxiety around your diet!

The #LSFBabes are a community full of powerful, strong and confident girls who support one another and get the results that they set out for. When I first became a coach, my focus was on creating a community of women who support each other to achieve the extraordinary! My girls? Well, it has completely surpassed my expectations of what was ever possible.

I think it is most girl’s constant battle to achieve the body of their dreams. because we are often comparing ourselves to other people, sometimes the body we long for may be almost “unattainable”. I know girls, it’s not easy. I can seriously relate because a part of my job literally requires me to be scored on the way I look.

Ditch The Resolutions

So many people out there will have spent the holiday period partying, indulging and basically putting their health and fitness goals on hold. Some of you may have struggled throughout the holidays with temptation and restriction and spent the festive season worrying about derailing your progress. And there is no doubt that a lot of people that managed to achieve silly season balance, enjoying time with friends and family, enjoying being active and enjoying a variety of indulgent and healthy foods.

No matter what category you fall into, we can’t help but use the ringing in of the New Year to act as a reset button. A time where we pause, reflect and vow to turn over a new leaf. But I’m going to be a little bit of an outlier here and suggest you ditch the New Years resolutions…

I can’t believe that 2018 is over! This year has been an absolute whirlwind for Lauren Simpson Fitness, from the moment 2018 kicked off back in January it has been go go go, and I have loved every single LSF moment! I wanted to take a little time to reflect over the highs from my biggest year yet at LSF.

Over the weekend something super exciting went down! My first ever LSF Babes Tour Event launched in my very own city - Sydney, Australia! I have been looking forward to this for so long, and have been planning for even longer, so it was beyond exciting to finally get the opportunity to meet my Sydney #LSFbabes, put them through a killer workout, chat to them about my experiences in health, fitness, and business, and get to give them all hugs and encouragement IN PERSON!!!! Here's my recap of the event.
